Maybe few of you have heard about the Korean band BIGBANG, and I’m sure that even fewer have heard that this group has made it in the Worldwide Act section at MTV EMA 2011 thanks to their loyal and supporting fans. Now, in the new poll, they fight with a powerful name in the music industry, and every possible vote is deeply appreciated. Please be kind and spare some votes for them!

Now you might be asking why I ask you to vote for them. Well, Korean bands fans are already all joining forces for them and I thought Japanese groups fans can do that the same for BIGBANG. Why? Because these kindhearted, talented and hard-working boys LOVE JAPAN! They debuted here in early 2008 with an EP entitled “For the World” (quite a suggestive name, ne?), they won various awards in Japan, but the most notable were for ‘Best Pop Video’ and ‘Best New Artist” from the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2010. The single “Koe wo Kikasete” (声をきかせて, Let Me Hear Your Voice), which was used as the opening theme of the J-drama “Ohitorisama” (おひとりさま, One Person) was also added to compilation album for the earthquake aid relief back in March. Their agency (YG Entertainment) has also contributed with large sums of money to help the victims. These are just some of the few things BIGBANG have in common with Japan.

So, please be gentle and help us see them making it worldwide!
